- Yesterday’s 2014 MSU Weed Tour was yet another successful event, with over 230 people in attendance. Thank you to all of you whom attended and to the many people in front and behind the scenes who made it all possible. Please enjoy a few photos of the event below. The plot signs will probably remain in the field for the next couple weeks so if there is something you missed, it’s not too late. We look forward to see you all again in 2015 to show off our research and demonstration plots, have a Happy Independence Day!
- This year’s tour featured several regulated studies showcasing upcoming seed technologies. Participants were allowed to look at plots, but not to enter or touch to comply with USDA and EPA regulations.
- Demonstration plots sometimes are good places to see firsthand what the wrong mix or application timing of herbicides can do with regard to crop injury.

I am interested in weed ecology as it pertains to agricultural production. I am also interested in field crop and vegetable production systems, the use of cover crops and other sustainable practices, herbicide resistance, and environmental preservation.
