  • Michigan Political Leadership Program The application for 2017 Fellowships is available now. MPLP alumni have held positions such as mayor, State House of Representatives and State Senate members, and many other positions.
  • Editorial: Capitalize on FRIB Cooperation (link is external) The Lansing State Journal Editorial Board draws a connection between MSU’s Facility for Rare Isotope Beams and the potential for drawing new development the Lansing area. IPPSR affiliate Eric Scorsone, who is also a member of the Lansing financial health team, is cited.
  • 2016 SCRA Award Recipients (link is external) IPPSR affiliate Jenna Watling Neal received an Early Career Award from the Society for Community Research and Action.

Marcella Babcock is a doctoral student in political science who conducts research on international development. She previously worked in education policy. At IPPSR, she will be building a database of campus policy experts and compiling research in the issue areas of education, social welfare and criminal justice.
